And why do illegals come here in droves? Answer: Because we make it comfortable and easy for them. After serving an LDS mission to a European country, I wanted to go back and work in the country for a year or so. But it wouldn’t work because the country’s government doesn’t facilitate that type of program. An educated person like myself can’t get a job in that country because I would be competing for jobs that other educated natives wanted. If I really wanted to go over there, I could jump on a plane and start working illegally teaching English. But if I were ever caught working illegally in that country, I would be deported immediately, no questions asked. And they surely would not ever give me health care unless I could pay full price in cash.
