And the idea of Ron Paul at first glance sounds good, but he wouldn't be able to do a thing. There are 535 people in the House/Senate that kick the spending bills to the president. The entire system is broken. And I think you could make a point that a president from left field like Ron Paul might be completely ineffectual to have any impact for change.
