Interesting take on it all. Always enjoy reading your blog. But... nearly all economists dismiss supply side economics (Reagonomics) except a relatively small few who seem to be able to hold on to political power because their economic prescriptions sound nice to much of the electorate. But, perhaps those jobs were created during Reagan's adminstration because the economy received a supply side shock - not from tax breaks - but from an end to the oil embargo.

It's like what Ron Paul said himself, if your name is on the ballet, there's always a chance you can win. Even still, there's something big going on in America with Ron Paul's message, he raised more money on a single day than any other politician in American History.... without media, without corporate funding, and even without his own campaign. And it's not about the money, but it's about the people speaking and I think that's huge. The problem is, that America's voice is being drowned out by the media and it's not right.

Ron Paul has some interesting ideas, to be sure, and for all I know he may be highly qualified to be president (I really don't know all that much about him), but one other thing I'm sure of is that within a major shakeup in the current lineup of Republican primary candidates (i.e. Romney, McCain, Thompson, and Huckabee all die within the next two weeks and nobody else replaces them) there's no way he can win the nomination.

Isn't Ron Paul down with getting rid of the corporate tax altogether? I don't remember. I don't really care for the guy. I think your theory makes sense though. JOSH FOR PRESIDENT!
