Internet marketing is a more all-encompassing view of using the Internet for marketing purposes than just looking at search engine marketing or search engine optimization. It’s all and any way the Internet can be used to generate results, whether online or offline.
Do you want a blog but don’t know where to start? Or maybe you just know that you don’t want one of those whatever.blogspot.com blogs because that’s what everyone uses for their personal blogs, and you want a high-end, professional blog. Something that, when people visit, they look at and say “Wow, that’s a really nice-looking blog.”
Well, today may…
I hate progress. I mean, I don’t…but I do. Wouldn’t it just be easier to live on a farm somewhere prior to the invention of the cotton gin and penicillin? We wouldn’t have to worry about cell phones, the Internet, auto repairs, paperwork, Al Gore, or…Twitter, ugh. I admit, I readily jumped on the Linkedin bandwagon years ago. But then…
Yeah, that’s right, I don’t have a Twitter account. I’ve never even been to the website. And yet I call myself an Internet marketing professional. I was behind the times on blogging, Facebook, I still don’t use MySpace and doubt I ever will, I have a cellphone that is junk and is almost two years old, I’ve never had a…

I’ve come up with ten reasons to not use Facebook (see below), but I want to know why you aren’t on Facebook. No, I’m not trying to convince you to use it, I’m just curious about the different reasons people are not using it. I have my own theories, but I’d like to hear it firsthand from you. I, myself,…
Recently I’ve created “LDS Entrepreneurs” groups on both Facebook and Linkedin. To join the Facebook group go here and to join the Linkedin group go here. As of this post the Facebook group has 42 members and the Linkedin group, which is growing at the rate of about 10 members per day, has 51 members.

1. Not updating your copyright. Nothing says “Our website isn’t very important to us” like having © 2007 well into February 2008. Changing it on January 1st says just the opposite. If you want to make life easy, get a script that automatically updates your copyright so you don’t have to.
2. Neglecting to update time-sensitive data, like scheduled…
