Overture Keyword Selector ToolPosted February 17, 2006 under Search Engine OptimizationNeed suggestions for keywords and you wish you knew what people were searching for? Yes, to anyone who's involved with SEO this is very basic, but for those starting out this is still a helpful tool. Simple go over to http://inventory.overture.com and type in a keyword. It will give you a list of keyword combinations that include your keyword along with the numbers of searches performed during the past month for those keywords. For example, type in "search engine optimization" and you get this list: Searches done in January 2006 And so forth... But you probably aren't running an SEO company, you're probably selling something else, like skateboards or something, so of course you'd type something in like "skateboards" and see what comes up. Anyway, it's a handy dandy little tool, and I like that they don't make you type in any security code and all they put on the page is what you need. I guess that's why I keep using it.
