We had an old CRX that ran great but wouldn't pass emissions. The last place we had it parked it on the street. They told us it basically needed a new engine, which wasn't really feasible for us (monetarily). When we went to pick it up, they had messed with the idle (it wouldn't pass because it was set high - it was set high so it wouldn't just shut off immediately after being started) so it wouldn't start. I guess I procrastinated too long and when I went back for the third time to try and get it home it was just gone. I haven't heard it or anyone else in relation to it since. That’s pretty funny.
